You'll regret buying a cheap fiberglass hood. Get one from a reputable company. If you get a crappy 200 dollar eBay fiberglass hood, you'll likely end up paying your body shop several hundred dollars to straighten it out and make it fit your car correctly.

Also Be very careful that it is installed correctly. while in film school a guy showed a Mini Documentary video about his cousin who likes to mod his car(I think it was an eclipse or something) and he mentioned having just installed a fiber glass hood because it reduces weight and everything, and while they were doing an interview while driving on the road, the hood popped off and slammed into the windshield. We all laughed.

Many of these light hoods require PINS at the very least. But to feel realy secure a perimeter of Dzues fasteners is recommended.

get a bolt on glass hood and you won't have any issues. what style hood do you want? this will determine what option you can go with. for instance, i have the "stinger" style hood on my Trans Am with an LT1 Camaro SS intake setup (sits on top of the intake) and it pulls air from the cowl. you can get "true ram air" like the WS6s had, but that will require the correct "ram air" hood for a camaro, which it sounds like this is what you're looking for...

The stock SS and WS6 hoods are Fiberglass/composite; no pins needed.

good luck finding an LT1 WS6 airbox. they are rare and usually expensive. I paid $115 shipped for mine in 08 with a K&N and the MAF to TB bellow which is also expensive new (about $160 for the bellow). the box is discontinued and most used ones i've seen usually go for $200+ without the MAF bellow or a filter. I've been told i got a steal.
