Post Good idea or bad; baking painted calipers?

I started painting my brake calipers and wheel spacers last night when I rotated my tires and so far everything looks good. I don't get to take my wheels off very often since its my daily driver and I can't have it down for long. So I think I remember hearing about companys baking different stuff in ovens to "set" the paint. Has anyone ever tried this? The topic is kinda wrong, I'm not disconecting the brake lines but just taking them off of the rotors. And on a side note, if I use the wire wheel cleaner which works like a miracle, can I spray the small rubber peice and brake pads with this stuff or will it mess them up?

I think it's overkill. Just use a paint that canhandle a high degrees. I used 1500 degrees red paint and I'm sure it'll be fine.
