Is it gay to paint the brake calipers?

Looking at your pictures, definently paint them. Ignor what the others are saying. IT's not ricey, it's stock on nearly any high end sports car, and it looks good.

I just recently painted mine, but painted them black ... didn't want them to stand out "too much", but since I'm going to be slapping on the C5 Z06 rims pretty soon, I didn't wanted the corroded, crappy looking calipers staring the world in the face!! Black or silver were the only 2 colors I was considering .

I like it Its pretty close to my Purple Pearl Metallic. Thanks for posting the pic with the RS spoiler on it. I am getting one off a board member here thats PPM, and was wondering what it would look like with just the spoiler. Now tint those tail lights!

I was actually foolin around with photoshop with my buddy lastnight and we blacked them out and it looked pretty awesome

only problem is, is that I cant find anyone who sells the middle break light cover, its just the two mains...so the middle small one would still be red, and it looks kinda off...

I also don't think painting brake calipers is gay as long as you do it right, take them off the car and sand/grind all the casting flaws off and clean them real good then spray them, and honestly how could anyone think this looks gay or rice compared to stock

Yeah dude niteshades FTW. I just did mine Friday, and they turned out amazing. Best part is it cost me a whopping $15. Theres a thread about it....
