Gauges..?

Im looking into the dual gauge pod, i was thinking of triple but decided to go for dual. Anyways im deciding on which gauges to get. I know i dont need BOOST cause i wont be putting on a blower or nx. Im thinking of the vacuum gauge and water temp gauge. Any inputs?

Re: Gauges..?

I put an oil pressure gauge on because I was having problems with my stock gauge. I also but a transmission temp gauge in.

Re: Gauges..?

The A/F is fine to have... If you want the look, but they're not accurate enough for tuning unless you have wideband. It will tell you lean or rich... but not exact numbers... which is what you want.

Someone correct me on this if I'm wrong.

Re: Gauges..?

no youre right..the O2's are pretty innacurate on our cars so the A/F would just be used as a 'general knowledge' of sorts...

Re: Gauges..?

I think getting the stock oil pressure guage repaired rather than getting another would be better. I don't know if thats the reason for replacement or if its not accurate enough. I see alot of people with ammeters, but that seems sort of pointless. A/F and Fuel Pressure sounds good.

Re: Gauges..?

Trans temp on an M6 is useful for the corner-carving guys... from my [limited] understanding the constant shifting and high revving can push your temps into unsafe levels.
