Gauge in Cubby Hole

Who has put one in the cubby hole beside the lighter? I am debating on trying it or just getting a single pillar pod.I already made a plate to put my radar controls,so I figure I could make one for it.

never tried it. if i were you i would just get a dual pillar pod from glowshift and then get 2 glowshift gages whatever ones you want/color/tint. the pillar itself is only like 25 bucks and each guage is 50-70 looks badass! thats what im gonna do asap! but im sure there is a way to rig up what you are trying to accomplish

Really don't have a need for two gauges. The two gauge pod from glow shift was $14.99 the last time I checked. There is a company who makes a plate to achieve what I want to do,but I can make my own.Just wanted to see if anybody had one installed there to get an idea as to how it looked.

Re: Gauge in Cubby Hole

I found some pics on another site where a guy had put a gauge there and it doesn't look bad. I would tweak it a little, but at least I know it will fit.

I made a plate out of plexiglass and put oil temp and vacuum and used angle rings from Autometer to anlgle them up to face the driver:

That looks good. I made a piece to put the leds and mute button for my radar detector a few months back where the cubby hole is. I can make me another one with the gauge cutout and then make the cutouts for the radar leds, etc.
