Re: Future appearance

well i still like em. but at least there 30$, so if i can try them, and if not, trash them. not a big loss. I just gotta work on getting my suspension in, and the rims. then i can get the small stuff.

its not like im putting the words "corvette" across them.

There is nothing wrong with using corvette stuff to make your car look better. You offended 90% of the people with Camaros. Alot of people have Corvette rims, seats, zr1 stuff, fuel rail covers etc and it looks good. With your mode of thinking why even mod a car? It's normal to take styling cues from the upper line models. Nothing wrong with it when done tastefully. Not all corvette parts say corvette on it.

Maybe certain things, but things that blatantly scream "Corvette" like the damn fuel rail covers.

Call me crazy, but I don't really like the idea of having something on my car that says "Corvette" on it. It just doesn't belong.

Re: Future appearance

i never said anything about putting something on my car that says corvette. It was just from a corvette design idea. im even grinding off the corvette from the z06 calipers I have. is that wrong?

p.s. they do look like impala wheels...

Fuel rail covers started on corvette motors they are versions sold that dont say corvette but does that make them all bad? What if someone took a actuall corvette motor out and put in a camaro would it still be stupid to leave the rail covers on? Lets be serious.

Dont grind your expensive calipers just because of what others think. Will you debadge every mod you get? No because that would be retarded. There was a poll on another board about if using z06 calipers on a camaro be rice. Everyone said hell no. If it looks good to you do it. It's your car, your money, and your taste that matters in the end. Youre the one that has to drive it every day. Mod on.

Re: Future appearance

I dunno. I just think loading up your F-body with Corvette accessories is kinda gay.

What's wrong is seeking approval for stuff you want to spend YOUR money on for YOUR car. I'm not going to try to convience people who say ZR1 rims are ok as long as theyre debadged. News flash, theyre still corvette rims and according to some in this thread that's bad.

I dunno about the rail covers. If they say Corvette, they should be on a Corvette.
THANK YOU.

So it's cool to be a SS poser with SS stuff on your car but not Corvette? Get my point? Proably not.
