Front turn signal/marker acting funny?

Front turn signal/marker acting funny?
Well - I noticed a few weeks ago that my left parking light appeared to be quite a bit brighter than my right - so I checked and they both have new 2397 bulbs in them. So I just let that slide.
Then - Monday morning I noticed that when I turned my parking lights on (don't have DRL's on this car yet) the left turn signal indicator light came on, and stayed. Well - it done it again yesterday morning as well - but not this morning.
So after a quick check - the left turn signal is not blinking at all (only on the front) and the right one is. And by comparison - it looks as if the left parking light is running off the high side and the right on the low side (like it should).
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions. Like I said - the left one has looked to be brighter than the right for a while - like it HAS been running on the high side the whole time with no problems.
