Those were the same ones I got, but they never fit right. I even had one pop off too, so I took them off for good. I am going to be buying the blackout paint and testing that out.

Re: Front Turn Signal Blk Outs?

I have blacked out my side markers on the rear-bumper along with my third tail-light. I used a blk-vinyl paint that I shot in the paint-shop i work at. I taped off a design which was just three lines. here's the design: ----------

YOu can get the idea. It turned out great and looks killer. I used blk. vinyl because it sticks better to plastic. there was much more prep than using the "night-shade" stuff you guys are talking about, but i think it looks better. really shiny, plus when the lights aren't on it looks completly blk.

Re: Front Turn Signal Blk Outs?

If you have a white car, how about the clear lenses? They would tend to blend in better with the car making them less noticible.

The black covers do not look that good with the lights on as you see light around the edges of the covers. I used the black covers on my black car & ended up using double stick tape around the whole perimiter to seal them to the lense.

The black tinted paint works well & will look decent, but it will not entirely make them black unless it also stops the light from coming through. A light coat does make them less noticible.

I have a black Z and decided to go with 4 clear lenses and NiteShade them. I used about half the can. See photos at

In the first picture, the DRL are on.
