Front clip adjustment?
Front clip adjustment?
Hello all,
Sorry for the long message but I just wanted to make sure I provide some history that might help explain my Camaro's problem. I have 1999 Camaro SS and the body on passenger side sits lower than the driver side. I've replaced all four springs and shocks and it's still leaning to the passenger side. It looks like the front passenger side leans more than the rear passenger side. The front passenger side (wheel well area) is more than a 1/4 inch lower than the front driver side. The rear passenger side (wheel well area) is about a 1/4 inch lower than the rear driver side.
When I bought this car years ago the original owner mentioned that once he had the car at the dealer for routine maintenance and the idiot mechanic put the lift under the fender mounting area instead of the subframe. He said they were able to fix the mistake but now I'm wondering if maybe when they "fixed it" that maybe the front end of the passenger side was not aligned or adjusted properly.
This "lean" has been driving me crazy because I'm **** about the way the car sits. Please any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

coil overs might fix it. but if the tech bent the body then your sol. you could take it to a body shop and let them put it on a frame machine and it can measure everything and "streatch/pull" it back right
