Or perhaps this color is Old Lady Beige Metallic. I'm not sure. It's hard to tell.
It's actually not too bad of a color.
Now is the time when I get to the part about this car that made me shake my head with disappointment. I didn't even know this when I started making this topic, but check out the engine bay:
This was originally bright purple metallic. Even worse, I looked up the VIN # and the car is a B4C. It's one of the 16 B4C Camaros that was originally purple. This is the 3rd B4C police car I've accidentally found that ended up being 1 of those 16 originally painted purple. Just like the other 2 I've found, this one served in the Houston, TX police force, so it was likely painted sky blue at some point in its life prior to beige.
FAIL!

I would imagine if it was in service the paint would have gotten beat up pretty bad, not to mention leave marks from the police decals all over it.
For some reason, that car looks pretty good in that color. Paint the headlight buckets black and put in some T-tops and it would be awesome.
I wonder whats up with the crooked pictures?

I was looking at the pics closely again and noticed a few things.
1. This car was painted bright blue at one time too, because there's still bright blue paint by the junction block on the passenger wheel hump.
2. This car has the wrong year wheels on it, so the originals must have been bad. Car could have some damaged parts hiding behind those new wheels.
3. The passenger seat doesn't match the year, so the car was probably one of the ones that had a laptop and other equipment mounted where the passenger seat was originally.
I really like the hardtop personally. T-tops are a hassle.

Possible the wheels were damaged, or maybe somebody swapped them to a car they were keeping when they sold this, lots of reasons they could have been changed. Maybe they were really goin for a sleeper look. That said. WOW that does look good in that sandstone or whatever color they call it. About the same color as our Malibu, I think it looks pretty good on a Camaro. I agree with the headlight buckets needing to be blacked out, maybe a black roof/mirrors, but definately the headlight pockets.

Funny how "old people" take so many hits.......
Back in my youth, a buddy of mine bought a brand new 1963 Impala SS with the 425HP 2x4bbl 409 engine, T10 4-speed, big gears. It was painted a similar color, called "Fawn Beige". He was no grandma..... and the car was beautiful. Looked almost as good as my 1993 Impala (300/327 T10 4.11's), but mine was dark green, and not an SS.
