tailight xtras
Wjile troubleshooting my brakelight failure, i noticed that near the area where the bulb sockets, plug into the tailight assembly, there is what apears to be some unfinished extra bulb socket spots in nthe assemblies, that aren't drilled out and so don't have sockets in them. Does anyone know if this is the spots were special exhibit/ or pacecarcamaros , would've had thier strobelights placements?

I may have this completely wrong, but I remember a humor that the NHTSA was planning on changing the light requirements for 93. So GM built the cars, i.e. had the parts built, for the new codes. Unfortunately the Gov. decided to delay them for 5 years, 1998. This is supposed to be why the 93 thru 97's have such lousey head lights. These are propably spots that would have been used HAD the codes changed.
