Fiberglass or Metal

Some of you might have found out I crashed my 4th gen this afternoon and i need a new hood. The OEM standard metal hood is $658 and an aftermarket fiberglass ram air II hood is $499. Which one should i get? Why? Does fiberglass hold up to weather and "opposing" forces?

Fiberglass doesn't always fit as good as metal, sometimes it needs more prepping before paint.

It will hold up better to weather than metal, but hoods don't rust so who cares.
