Best aftermarket SS hood

Things happen for a reason......
They caught the girl who egged my car, and no one knows why she did it, but she denied it and there were wittnesses so the cops said it will be an "open and shut case" meaning I will win. So instead of fixing the scratch in my door(300$ to paint the whole driver side door) and get new airvents under the wipers (havent gotten an estimate on them yet) I am going to buy an SS hood. The scratch isnt noticable unless you look for it, and the air vents arent noticable either, but hey, im gonna get money for them. So all in all, I am hoping to get like 400$ out of her.

So what is the best quality aftermarket SS hood? I saw one in my Jegs catalog from Harwood and it looked pretty good. What brand have you guys used that bolted on pretty good and looked factory? the description of the harwood one said it bolts up like a factory one does. I am leaning towards this one, but I wanted yalls input. Also, how much to paint the hood? thanks!

You will do good to get a hood from Fiberglass Fabricators INC.

I have seen the quality of other aftermarket hoods, these are the best by far. You get what you pay for when it comes to fiberglass...

yeah, ive heard that before. the reason i wanted to go with the one in the Jegs catalog is because of the free shipping. It is also fiberglass.....

My hood shipped to my door was 80.00. Thats pretty cheap for a hood. Not to mention, it was packaged really well.

I just bought a non-functional SS hood from Fiberglass Fabricators INC. Bought off eBay for 400 bucks without shipping. Pretty damn nice looking. I had to have it shipped to a business address for 86 bucks, to my door was 130. I havent yet installed it since I shipped it to my parents town (closer to the company) and they live 400 miles away from me.

FFI SS hood... best hood for the price. It's not exactly rare anymore, but there is a reason why so many have this hood. It can't be beat.
