fenders

I saw a 96 trans am today with fenders from a 98-2002 trans am on them they had the air dams on the sides. I thought the 98-2002 fenders wouldnt line up with the lt1 93-97 trans am. i did take a few pics and will post later.

But that's not an LT1 front bumper. That's an LS1 front bumper.

It's not a 98+ Fender, someone put a lot of body work into molding the vents into an LT1 fender. The front of the LT1 fender where it meets the bumper is substantially different, there would be no way the lines would match up. I was thinking about buying some good LT1 fenders and some junk LS1 fenders and cutting out the vents and molding them in. Now I know it would look pretty neat!
