Question Fender Flares (Heritage style)

Anyone know what all is involved in doing this to a camaro? My 94Z has the rear fenders flarred (about 1" out each side)...the guy I purchased it from planned on putting the 17x11GS wheels on her..but sold it first before getting the wheels.
I was curious if anyone has attempted to mimic the 2003 Heritage Camaro fender flares/wheels setup. I like the 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 Z06 Motorsports for my Teal car..and that widened body just looks SO DAMN HOT!!!!
That and the aggressive style high rise spoiler..I think personally my Teal would look better than the Blue Heritage
Anyways, what would it take..new fenders to a body shop? Or do you think I could just have a body shop 'flare' mine that much without making them too thin? I have to admit..not many people at all even have the rear fenders flarred as I do, and my best bud and I can tell a difference when our Zs are next to eachother. I think this would set you above all else, looks wise (not to mention his 600+hp car!! )
Also, what do you think a body shop would charge to do a job like this..and can anyone here photoshop a Teal Camaro (or any I suppose) with wider panels and Motorsport wheels?
Just another late night brain fart..(except I dont think this one is a bad idea at all)
Thanks guys,
Derek

Here's a pic of a teal one I took...

BTW you can't just flare the fenders. The fenders used on those cars are brand new complete fenders made by gm for berger chevrolet. You would have to make new ones.

A guy on this board is making some though outta fiberglass do a search.

thats sick! I wonder how you go about getting some custom fenders like that..obviously if you cant do it to stock fenders..you have to have a shop custom fab camaro fenders..Id imagine that alone to be thousands..not to mention paint..
Its an okay color, thats more of a Turqouise (sp?) than a Teal. My teal is almost a blue green..way perttier in my opinion. Anyways, thats exactly the type of pic i was looking for..Whered you get the pic? and Whos car is that? Id be curious of the wheel/tire setup and if he had to do anything else to the car besides giving it that look from just fenders/wheels/tires...? I love it down to the spoiler and hood too..a 427cu in. would look great in my car Thanks, Derek

I took it at a car show I went to.

I think he had 18x13's in back or something like that. I know for sure they are 18's all the way around, I check very closely
I have no idea who owns the car just that he got it from "Berger Chevrolet"

The car from what I remember had the flares and the fender wells were tubbed.

really nice car Chevy High performance magazine has it on the cover (this moths issue.)
