painting headlight housings..

I Have a 3rd gen that i want to repaint the black around the headlights. What kind of paint should i use and how hard is it to complete? I have searched the forum briefly for threads but couldn't find anything that talked about that. Is it just spray-paintable, or should i use an airbrush?? thanks for the help guys!! Oh another question, what dashes will fit what cars.. i have a 90 IROC that i want a new dashpad for, will any other dashes fit it?? thanks guys.

Just lightly sand it with 400 grit sandpaper and try some black paint. I prefer krylon, but alot of people like Duplicolor. If you got the cash or access to a spray gun, get a little bit of good automotive paint.
