Question Extended RPM guage in IC

Is there any company that makes or will make an instrument cluster overlay for LT1 camaros with markings on the tach up to 7000rpm. Every one I've found so far has tachs that stop indicating at 5700rpm and from 5800-7000rpm its a solid red line. With the heads and cam I'm going with this year I'll be revving beyond 5700rpm and I don't want to mount an aftermarket tach on the dash. I'm trying to keep a stock apperance.

Regardless of where I shift the car at I still want a tach with markings up to 7000rpm.

For those of you that have tried making your own overlays, is there a special type of paper you have to use. I am pretty good with Photoshop so I think I'll just buy Macewen overlays and modify the tach/speedo template.

Are the Z's different than the Formula/TA's? My tach is fully marked, all the way to 7,000rpm. The orange starts at 5,200, and it turns to a solid red band up to 7K, but the markings are still there every 500rpm.

I found the stock tach sort of inadequate after going to a solid roller cam, with redline well into the 7,000's....... so I opted for a 5" AutoMeter Tach. But I wouldn't want anything that visible on a street car.

The TransAm/formula tach is different from the Z28. This is what the tach on my car looks like. If I could I would customize mine so that it has the black 100 rpm increments up to 6500rpm then from 6600-7000rpm the markings would be red instead of black. No orange or solid red line. I would be alot easier if someone made them.

I know that the factory tach isn't 100% accurate so I'll have a minishift light probably in the the LH air outlet in the dash.
