I still don't have time to work on my car! I'm still debating on whether or not to clear coat the engine bay. I would assume the only areas that would turn yellow over time would be near the frame rails since the header primaries are pretty close.

How long? The prep time was the longest so its kind of hard to say and the acutal spraying went by pretty quickly. As for the clear coat... haven't installed my engine yet. I'm working 4 jobs and have ZERO time!

I was wondering after you added the primer, do you have to sand it before adding the base coat?

I bought some High Temp clear from Autozone, do you guys think this will turn yellow over time. The Clear says its good for up to 500 degrees.

I didn't sand the primer and I let it cure for about 24 hours before spraying the paint on.

Good luck!

Thanks for your input man.....I'm not sure how long I should let the clear coat cure before wet sanding. Also anyone have any tips as this will be my first time wet sanding.

Here are some before and after pics, and the last pic is my car...

I use a 20oz water bottle with a hole in the cap. water will drip out some what slowly and you can just squeeze it when you need more water. never let it get dry and use a water blade to dry so you can check your progress. don't over do it
