Engine bay
Engine bay

I just spent about 3 hours making THAT, outta

that
I basically focused on the underside of the hood ( looked like my *** after a nice hearty **** ) and my fender's, which had 10 years of nasty in every crook and cranny, the shock towers were the absolute worse, and the simple green doesn't feel good in the cuts... Oh well. this weekend ( next time I have free time ) I am gonna go at again, gotta sand a few things, gotta polish the fuel rails, polish the intake runners, clean the nasty alt * just seen that lol * and try something on the fuel line looms..
Re: Engine bay
Next time I suggest trying some Gunk "Engine Brite." When I first bought my car the engine bay was just about as bad as your "before" pic. Sprayed everything down in 3 saturations over a 15 minute time period, and about 80% of the grime had literally dripped to the ground. Only stuff that was left was the little bit left in nooks and crannies. After wiping up the remainder with a t-shirt I had about 30 minutes total into it. Another cool aspect of the Engine Brite is that it leaves all the surfaces it touched with a glossy wet look. (Sort've like Armor All.)
Looks good though.

Re: Engine bay
I've heard of CD2 Engine detailer, but have never seen it. Simple green works wonders, tho..
Nice clean up!...I like that you can see the back of the engine compartment. Very clean looking.!!
