Eibach sportlines
Eibach sportlines
I have the opportunity to get a set of sportlines for a very reasonable price. But was just curious to everyones experiences and comments about these springs. Ride quality etc....
i like this part:
bouncy, bouncy, bouncy....
i honestly cannot complain, though. i've been in trucks dropped and honduh's dropped, and it's a bounce that comes with the territory. you can't beat the looks of the stance, and the looks other people give ya...
look like you have shorties, so that's no biggie, full length headers seem to pose a prob...
i think the biggest factor to me would be the area i live in. if you are in a more urban area, where the entrance to mcd's(or some other place you frequent) is steep(real steep), i prolly wouldnt do it...
i dunno, i think if you did get them, you would find yourself making a mental map of where you can and cannot go...
for example: i know i cannot go to the kragen's via the spring street entrance, my car almost got stuck on it last time i tried. and i dont drive my car on base anymore, i keep getting hung up on the speedbumps...
even with the hassles of having a car lowered that much, i sure do love the way it looks and handles.

I love the way my car LOOKS with the lowering springs but it definitly isn't fun when you come across some speed bumps or a steep entrance or anything. It sucks. It scrapes a lot. You've just gotta be careful. I pretty much just go reallllllly slow instead of avoiding certain routes. It pisses people off who are behind me but I don't care. Other than the whole scraping stuff, I love the springs. They can do a lot for the appearance of your car, that's for sure. Check out my pics if you want to see how it sits, I have the Eibach Sportkit on mine.
