ebay find of the week... worst Corvette based custom I've ever seen

I found this while browsing the most expensive cars on ebay. This sucker is requesting a $250,000 starting bid and has already received that one bid!

It doesn't look bad from this angle, so I read the full item description.

It's a 1 of a kind prototype called the Marocco II based on a '92 Corvette. It has 500+ horsepower and supposedly 0 emissions. It's "supposed" to look like a Ferrari race car from the '50s. But... it doesn't. It looks like a Corvette with a hideous nose and tail panel. Oh man... it's truly awful. From the front, it looks nice, but when you look at the side... it makes your stomach turn.

The way the hood amazingly opens properly is a nice piece of engineering, but it's a shame really that it looks so awful.

The only thing I like is the wheels .

Feel free to look at the auction here:

I would consider that back fascia if I had a C4 Corvette. I think that looks pretty cool.

Wow, that instrument panel looks right at home in their $250K "supercar"
And what is the idea behind the extra injector plate between the tb and the intake manifold?

Looks like the blower may have been designed/installed by Carroll Supercharging. The injectors are the way they added extra fuel proportional to boost. They call it the "Superfueler".

Well I guess that makes sense. Ya gotta have a Superfueler on a supercar!
