A friend of mine saw a camaro with doors that open front to back. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this or knows what I have to do in order to get my car to do this. I think it will look cool and be different. I think I need to get different door hinges but I could be wrong. Does anyone have any idea on what to do?

 

I think you are talking about suicide doors. A guy around here has them on his truck. My guess would be that they would need new hinges. and some body modifications done to get it to look right.

The RX-8 has similar doors I think (I saw it on the commercial).Front opens normal but back opens front to back.

Nope they are perfectly legal.

 

Thats what i'm looking for but where did you guys get those hinges to make them swing like that? It looks good on both your cars. I want to get it.
