Do you need a different hinge when using a Ram Air hood?

My body shop guy just told me that the SLP Ram air hood doesn't line up with my factory hinges. Are they somehow different?

My SLP ram air hood used the stock hinges fine. The hood had to be repositioned/adjusted, but thats it.

On mine they had to dremel out the holes because it was skewed. Lucky for me they didn't try to shut the hood. Took them about an hour to dremel and straighten the hood.

Matching the hood to the stock hinges is simply part of the install and align procedure. My SLP hood took a lot of shifting and tweeking, but it fits fine using the stock hinges.
