Do you hate the LS1 front bumpers?

I like an LT1 front end for a Z-28, but I do like the SS LS1. The hood scoop compliments the front real well.

In an LS1, I'll take an SS, then a WS6, then a Trans Am and a Z-28......in that order.

The LS1 front bumper looks awesome if it has a chrome insert, IMO.

Both the Firebird & Camaro's had perfect transitions from the 3rd gens, the 98+s were not designed to have humpy fenders and stubby bumpers. The Camaro's are some of the uglee-est bumpers I've seen.

I like them both for different styles though .

Dark metallic colors and Black really look awesome on the LT1 . The LT1 looks old school mean .

by contrast

I love some of the retro themed colors , hockey stripes , dick harrel cars ect . Only the LS1 style front can pull off that theme . It just doesnt translate well at all on the LT cars at all imo . I also love how the LS1 front is much more contemporary looking .

I was going to convert my 94 over to a LS1 front , since its completely disassembled getting the body ready for paint . But Ive since decided to stick with the stock LT1 front end because it will look badass in the Lemans BLue im painting the car .

1960s/70s Lemans Blue? Or the current Lemans blue? The old one was really bright blue, and the current one is dark like electron blue.

My color selection was originally very similar to the old lemans blue . Audi Sprint blue to be exact , that was on the S and RS cars only . I photoshopped it and hated it with the LT1 SS nose , though I LOVE the color . Soooo , its definately going to be the darker 04-07 Vette Lemans blue .

This is what the 1969 Lemans Blue looks like on a 4th gen:

It's not technically 1969 paint, but it's a ZL1 painted a color based on that. I think it'd look great on an LT1 car personally.

Nice pic , I saw that exact car in person at the LSx shootout a few weeks ago . Its a sweet car .

Heres the photoshop I did that made me decide I wanted the darker color.....I actually got my color names mixed up . The PS I did is closer to old school marina blue( and c5 nassau blue for that matter ) , but alot less vivid .

Cool Does anyone know how the '98 got that grill?

Well, from what I've heard it was copying the late nineties Chryslers. Go look at a 98 sebring or 300! All about the bottom feeder!

Heck, I'd just close my eyes and pick one of those. They both look fabulous.

Don't think this is a representative comparison, as the head light mod's almost make this LT a hybred.

Those are just headlight covers over the stock lights. It'd be better without them probably, though I definitely don't dislike them.
