dash question!

dash question!

how does the dashboard come out, not the instrument or anything just the big part that cracks all the time, does it just clip in or screw in?
if clips what do i need to do to get one out.

if your referring to the 93-96 dash then its just held in by a Velcro material that just pops in place. But you must take off the A pillar's first. If yours is getting replaced then hell i would just break it out after taking off the pillars. Be ready for it to scare the crap out of you whenever you try to put the new one back in since you are going to have to bend it to fit back in there right.....just be extremely cautious.

lol i remember when I had to put my new one in I was scaring the **** out of me I had to bend it alot I thought I was going to break it, then it finally slipped in I was relieved.

I've got to put a new dash pad in my 97 Z and I'm dreading having to bend it to fit it in there. I'm so afraid I'll crack it but I know you've got to do it to get it in there.
