Cracked Hood Need an Opinion!!

Well i got my hood in that i have been waiting for and with my luck there was something wrong with it.

There is a little crack at one of the corners and i had some questions.

How much would it cost to fix something like that?

Is it an easy fix?

And WILL it look right..?

I will more then likely fill it with the shipping company but if it isn't going to be much to fix it i just might pay it out of pocket since i've been waiting a long *** time to get this done.

Pics are posted at another board since i have no where to host them.

don't that just **** you off? It won't take a lot of work to fix. Fiberglass is very forgiving. You can buy a fiberglass repair kit and do it yourself. It is pretty easy. If you go this route you can pm me or e-mail me and i can give you exact instructions on what to do. I would definetly file a claim with the shipping company or who ever you bought it from. Call them first to find out your options and try to get your money back or at least some of it before you start working on it.

Hey man that is a very easy fix. Just like 1-bad-z28 said get you a fiberglass repair kit from the auto store. Mine was cracked way worse than that when it came in and I fixed it within a few hours. That one wont take long at all. PM me if you have any questions.

Re: Cracked Hood Need an Opinion!!

Sweet Thanks Guys.

I have no experience with fiberglass or anything like that.

But i sent yall Some PM's

The only thing i'm worried about is that the corners wont match up.

They are both at an upwards angle or atleast 1 is now and i'm just worried that they wont match. Will the Fiver glass hold it there while it dries or will i have to find some kind of clamp to hold it in place??
