cowl hood pics

well guys, im getting ready to start on the outside of my camaro, I love all of the classic camaros, mainly 1st and 2nd gen, and almost all of the ones i see have cowl hoods, or the now ss style hoods. Does anybody have pictures of any of the 4" cowl hoods, or maybe the VFN 2.5" cowl hood or w/e?

So you want pictures of 1st and 2nd gen cars with cowl hoods or 3rd or 4th? If you want a 4th gen, check out the Z-28 in my sig.

here is my sunoco hood from Vfn, you can get with or without the line down the center.

Why not? It matches the "line" you've got in the middle if you have t-tops, but more importantly, it's a heritage thing. Look here:

4 inch cowl hoods usually do look weird unless you have ground effects to balance it out. If you're not going to get ground effects, I'd stick with the 2.5 inch hood either from ASCD or the Harwood hood.

Thanks, it's just your "run-of-the-mill" Wings West body kit...

Cowl hoods on LT1's FTW!.....

I like cowl hoods on any car except the LS1's.. no offence anyone, but I just think they would look better on an LT1 4th Gen. It just completes it and flows very nice!

IMO, it's a bit too much on its own, but with the right body kit to balance it out, it'd look really good...
