Question Costs of installing a new body kit ?

Lets say I just bought a brand new Xenon Body Kit (which I will in the near future). Where or who could I get to install the kit and how much would it cost painted and everything?

I say you should be able to install the kit yourself. From what I have seen most body kits are not that hard to install. However I have never seen the Xeon kit so I do not know how it would be for that kit. When it comes to painting it depends on a few things. Does the kit come with a spoiler? Will you prep the kit for painting before you bring it to the shop? Or my favorite is get some scrape metal and practice with a gun until you get good enough to paint it yourself.

Mine was painted by a friend of mine for $120 - cost of paint and beer . Installed it myself but with alot of PITA because the fitment of the Vizage kits is very poor. Still not completly satisfied with the instalation but will probably wait till the car to be painted.
Took me a good 6 hours to prep. fit and place the whole thing. Used double sided tape, self tapping screws on the sides and the rivet screws on the front and back.
Defenatly doable job just realy time consuming and better do it with somebody helping you because this pices are quite big and heavy to alline by yourself.

Re: Costs of installing a new body kit ?

my body kit paint job is gonna cost me about $5200 because i have a metallic flake paint and won't look the same no matter what i do to make it match the rest of the car so im just getting my whole car repainted black with silver stripes with a metallic flake in it also.
