Hey guys I have a 97 z28 with a convertible top that has a heated window. I have already purchased the new top, I just need to put it on. I rather do it myself. Has anyone does this before; and if so do you have any instructions? Tools I need, etc. Or if there is any good videos or posts already on this, can you please comment with them. Thank you.

 

The 1996 factory service manual (same as 1997) is available for free download. Section 10-9 covers the "folding top cover" removal and replacement. Starts on page 10-9-32 of Volume 1 of 2 - part 2 of 2. Download here:

You might also want to download a copy of the factory service manual for additional reference. I don't know of a 1997 manual available online, but the 1998 manual should be the same information.
