I have just bought a 95 Z28 and the console is kinda rough around the shifter.

I was wondering, will a 97-02 Console fit in the 95 Z's or do you have to do some modification to make it?

Any info will be helpful.

 

You just have to drill a hole out bigger for a stud to slide in and that's it.

You just need to figure out what to do with the empty space, I'm going to make a gauge pod that fits under the radio to fill it.

 

So that pocket has to come out?

 

It's plastic welded to the console the only way to separate it is to break it off.
