I'm getting ready to dump the 16x8 wheels on my TA and replace them with 17x9 Cobra R replica wheels (with plain chrome center caps). I think these wheels look sweet on f-bodies. Anybody know where to get a good deal on a Chrome set? Best I've seen so far is $224ea at fasttoys.net.

www.performancewheeloutlet.com has them. They call it the Milan model. Cobra R wheels make any car look good

 

Here's a more direct link to the page at Performance Wheel Outlet...they are about the 4th or 5th wheel down...They aren't a crappy looking replica IMO, these are really nice original wheels. (They look like the Cobra R's, but they aren't a shoddy replica if you understand what I am saying...)

Whats the largest footprint tire you can run on the 17x9/18x9s?
I'm thinking of going with the same rims. Should I run 18s all around or 18s rear, 17s front. Why do the new vettes run 17s front 18s rear? Ill be lowering with the prokit, or not lowering at all, since ill have gfx.
