I guess it's always a possibility, but I guess the way I look at it is that the things are cheap. If it comes down to it, I can take them apart and try to clean them or replace them. Dust and dirt doesn't really seem to be a problem though. They've been in the car for over a year now and they've had the holes drilled in them for a few months. If you want more detail as to where I drilled them, let me know.

I made my own ones.... and have had 0 issues with leaking at all.. infact they still look just as good and work just as good as the day I built them... a little Goo Glue to glue it together and some clear RTV to make sure they're sealed..

hey TwistedLester,
I have the clear turn signals, the newest ones off ebay. I installed them, took my car to the car wash.... and sure enough there was water in them, all this after I sealed the enitre housing where the clear lens and plastic housing meet. So I then realized that the water comes from the gap between the headlight and front bumper, because right underneath that is where the 3157 bulb goes into the turn signal housing. So I put masking tape right on top of where the bulb screws into the housing..... i put a few passes over it from all angles to make sure. I drive straight to the car wash and......... problem solved. Hope this helps. After you install them, just reach up underneath and take the wide masking tape and tear off a few lengthy peices and just go over where the bulb screws into the light to make sure the light will not move nor will water leak. Sorry, no pics just yet, but the new clears look bada$$ on a silver z

pu12en12g.....
They leak bad and yes I blew blubs weekly IF I used APC Hyperbright blubs, if I use standard one , no problems

JDHarris thanks for the tip on PIAA 3157 Hyperwhite bulbs.

Blacksix ...
That helps allot!!! Thanks, I had a feeling that area was the culprit. My car is Silver also , thats why I love the clear lens look.
I will still replace the lens due to all the water are ruined the reflective finish

Thanks for EVERYONES response!!

Twisted...

I use regular APC clear corners; got them from carparts.com a year or so ago. I use Eurolite Xenon bulbs in them and they work fine.

No leaking. One did get a piece chipped out of them, and even so it hasn't ruined the bulb.

Red face Help!

Okay, I just have to chime in on this.

I got these clear corners - Diamond Clears. . I am not understanding this thread really since everyone has been talking about different ones leaking and what not. Has anyone had any problems with these ones? If so, what exactly do you have to do so they don't leak water?

Also, what kind of bulbs should I buy for these? I want to go with hyperwhites but know nothing about different bulbs and what not. Can anyone help me out? Thank you in advance!

I hadn't done anything to mine. It doesn't leak. I use the stock bulbs on mine.

Oh, did I mention that the big bulbs were WRONG? They gave me the wrong bulbs with my set I got from ProcarParts...

Unless the big bulbs differ from 93-97 and 98-02, but I doubt it...

I purchased a set of the Euro clears from Pro carparts about 6 months ago and I have not had a single problem. I was living in Washington State for a while where it rains EVERY DAY with no probs. Not even when I take it to the car wash and spay directly onto it. I also didn't do a thing to them. I was going to use sealant, but then I really couldn't find a purpose for it. I really don't understand why some get water in them.
