Clear Corner Lens That Do Not Leak Water

I have Euro Diamond Clear Corner lenses.
They leak water.
They have been sealed and resealed and sealed again.
They STILL Leak.
I HATE Them!!!

WHAT brand do I need to look for that DO NOT allow water to get inside?!!

you could always ditch the diamond clears and get regular ones, like I have they never have leaked once.

What did you use to seal them with ?

I don't want to repeat your mistake, and my diamond clears are going on this spring.

I had the regular clear corners for a long time - the first version that came out, and they never leaked.

Now my car is at the body shop getting fixed, and I am looking for one of the newer version of the clear corners. It seems that there are 2 new versions out. There is this set that they carry, which seems to be what most people are buying now.

Then there is another set that I see popping up on e-bay, that are even more clear looking than the above mentioned. Here is another auction with the "most" clear version I have found... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=33717

I prefer the last version, but I haven't seen anyone with them. Has anyone bought a set like these?

I'm pretty sure those last 2 are the same ones. They just look slightly different in the photos.

Yeah, I think they are the same. I'm just wondering if anyone on this board has bought a set like the last two. I would like to see a pic of them on a car.

Those pics on ebay can be a little misleading. It's hard to tell what the design is, since all the reflective coating inside them, makes it look like there are all these funky angles inside.

Those last two are the same as the ones you get from procarparts.com. There are only two styles of clear corners, the normal ones and the diamond clears. I have the diamond clears on my car and they do leak water. I've sealed them several times and finally just gave up. I drilled a small hole in the bottom front corner to drain the water so i don't get them clouding up anymore. You don't notice the water unless it's fogging up. So I guess my solution was to pretend it doesn't leak and try to forget about it!

Do your bulbs burn out often ?

And do they not cloud up at ALL anymore then ?

My clear corners do not fog up at all anymore. I used to go through bulbs every day or two when i was using the APC bulbs. The glass on those bulbs is really thin and tends to crack because of the temperature difference with the moisture. Once the crack appears, the bulbs burn out from the air getting inside. I'm using PIAA 3157 Hyperwhite bulbs right now and have had no problems since. The glass on the PIAA bulbs is MUCH thicker and they are a much nicer all around bulb. They cost about $20 shipped, but they were well worth it.

See... I want to drill those lil holes on the bottom as well, but my thinking was that unless they are totally sealed... dust etc, can get up in there and eventually screw up the clear corners...

So I am not sure which way I am gonna go.
