1) develop horrible taste in car mods
2) open the rear hatch, pull the trunk liner away from the back part of the "trunk"
3) unscrew the plastic nuts holding the taillights on
4) pull the taillights away, giving the bulbs 1/4 turn to remove them from the lens assembly
5) installation is the reverse of removal
6) enjoy driving your now uglier car

Re: Clear Corner Install??

#1 clear corners are not ugly.. amber is ugly..

as for the install.. get under the front end.. unbolt the plastic cover things on either side.. you may have to unbolt and take off the air dam too.. and dig your hand in there and go by feel.. pull out the bulbs.. there are two of them..

now damnit i can't remember how to get the old ones out now.. i think they just pull out.. it's a pain in the *** though.. i broke the stock ones taking them out

^^^^Almost got you there...
Unbolt the undercoverings of the front end.
Then take out the bulbs. There are (3)[I think] screws that hold the corner markers in. They all use a 10mm socket I believe. Unscrew them, and the housing comes out from the inside.

Reverse for install.

It's very self-explanitory.

i couldnt remember if there were screws holding in the housing... all i know is, yeah.. it was pretty self explanatory, once you get down there you can tell how to get everything out

there are only two bulbs.. one has a double filament, towards the front.. it's larger.. and the one on the side is tiny

I want to say there were only two screws... But it is a very easy job! The light assembly actually sits on a 'shelf' up there, and you screw it to that.

Re: Clear Corner Install??

I pulled the headlights out rather than pulling out all that crap from the bottom, alot more room that way the whole job took me less than 5 minutes.

Its only 3 nuts and bolts, one for the small metal bracket on top, and the other two are for the side brackets. You also have those two plastic clips behind the headlight that slide in and out of the side brackets.

You only have to undo one bolt for the small metal bracket right on top on the ls1 headlights, and the rest just slides right out.
