Sorry if I gave the wrong impression. But it's ugly. The stock one is also ugly. So I bought a cap from MBA to cover it up. It looks much better now. I also know it says CHEAP mod. But I guess you get what you pay for....cheap stuff...cheap crap.

 

Anyone who would spend good money on something so insigificant as an oil cap just because its look a little better has a mental illness, IMO.

 

Actually, I bought the whole engine dress up kit to make the engine bay look a little bit crisp and not so boring. I didn't just buy the oil cap to make that ONLY look better. So I guess I must have a mental illness.....Don't we all? We are obsessed with our Camaros in some sort, weather it's speed parts, little things to dress it up, special paint job....etc.

All I was saying is that I didn't like that cap or the stock one either. Sorry, if I had stepped on any toes here. It was not intentional as I was speaking my mind. Maybe I did it in a rude manner and I'm sorry.

 

Look I am not trying to be rude or anything either. I was just suggesting something that I liked and would let everyone know about it. If you like it cool, if not oh well. The part that made me was when it was said that I could not remember what oil I used. Whoever said that is not the brightest because that is not the reason that I made my initial post.

 

Don;t worry about it, dude. Not everyone will agree with what you say here...different opinions for different people. I don't see anything wrong with getting ANYTHING for your car that you think will improve its appearance in your own eyes. Thats all that matters.

If they don't like it, TS for them. I don't like cobra-eyes or whatever those are called, but if the dude that just bought them at RiceBoys likes them and adds them to his Tercel, more power to him.

Maybe you don't need to be reminded (I don't either), but if you don't change your own oil and you just bring it to those oil change shops, they sure as all hell need to be reminded!!!

 

there is a cap similar to that that was used with lt4 valve covers. i dont see why it wouldnt work in an lt1

 

Your right. That does give it a nice modded look. Maybe you can find a matching gas cap?
