Question How tough is it to replace a conv. top ?

Is this something that someone with mechanical and electrical skills can do or does it take magic and sewing skills which I don't claim to have ?

If you have done this can you recommend an online vendor ?

Thanks alot !

From what i've heard it should be left to a professional. If it was easy to do then I would have done it already (i'm changing my top from tan to black) but there are so many margins for error. If it isn't on perfect then you can get leaks and rattles....etc. I would just leave it to a pro unless you have a buddy thats done it before.

Yea, my buddy and I tried to replace a top once, it aint easy. We ended up quiting and getting pros to do it. So many things can go wrong and just mess up the whole rotation of things. I say get someone else to do it.
