Changing the auto shift **** on Camaros

Is there a way to fit another style shift **** (auto) on Camaros? I prefer the t-shaped style (IE Firebird). I hate having to hold my shift **** like a Jeopardy buzzer.

And before anyone says it, yes I know my hand shouldn't be on the shifter other than to park or go backward. It's a bad habit I've picked up from driving manual cars.

yeah put the car in like overdrive or first for easiest removal...and pull pin, and pull up, then replace with new one...

Straight swap with any shifter from 82-02... didn't change in 20 years. I just swaped mine today, much better look I think.

Now when I change the radio station, my arm isn't resting on the shifter button.
