CETA questions

ive been wanting to do this for a while and im gonna do it myself but i have a question about taping this area off. i think the 'crack' should be painted also. i cant seem to quite get it taped off right. im using 1/4 vinyl paint tape. any suggestions? also does anyone have closesups of the taped off portion and around the license plate since there isnt really a line to tape?

use thicker painters tape so you can get it down into the crack, but still have enough to wrap up and over and get another part of tape with some newspaper or w/e to cover the car. heres the best pic i have of when i did mine....

urethane PPG. went to my local automotive paint store and picked up some GM Arctic White and all he catalysts, thinner and all that crap. sprayed it through my pops gun. you need to be setup to do it the way i did it, which has a near factory look, however a rattle can will get the job done and look nice if you have some skills with one.

Did mine with a can, looks decent. I will be spraying my bumpers this summer with a gun, so I will re-do it then.
