Can I switch the seat backs?

I have a 96 with leather manual seats. After 12 years of daily driving, the drivers seat is showing wear. The passenger is pristine. Can I swap? I would prefer to just switch the backs because I have, shall we say, custom fit the seat to my posterier over the years and it is very comfy.

Isn't the shoulder harness loop bolted on opposite sides of the two seats?

Also might want to add what model car you are asking about - Camaro or Firebird.

Camaro. I did not think about the belt. Now I have to go look. I was more thinking about the recline mechanism and handle.

I swapped a cloth back from a 93 Passengers seat to the drivers side. No problems other then having two small holes from the old seat belt holder.
