I wonder if Living on bumpy roads or going over Rail road tracks too fast could contribute? This jarring affect could pull the inner fender against the outer skin...Mark

I have them too. I have heard that sub-frame connectors can prevent them after you get them fixed at a paintless dent removal place. Anyone else heard this?

Ok, my boss at the body shop took a look at mine and we came to the conclusion that weak seams inside the quartpanel allow this "birthmark" affect to take place, sudden jarring of brackets on the inside very bumpy roads that can knock around welds, chassis twist for cars without subframe connectors things like this, now this is all in theory, but it made alot of sense both of mine were in the exact same location across from each other...i kno that isnt coincidence it has to be the way the body was built and welded up

if you sanded them down and filled them in with something like jbweld do you think it would hold it all together? I was considering doing this before painting my car, but i wouldn't want it to flex and knock the chunk out and ruin the paint... btw, I got this thing called a ding king for about 20 bucks, you put hot glue on this disc and stick it on, then turn a wing nut and it pops the dent out. you can still see it, but it makes it much smaller than before

Just got get the ding pulled out if it bothers you so much. Trying to go after GM for it is a complete waste of your time.

I can't believe this thing came back to life.

Any way I had mine fixed by some guy that does the paintless dent thing. It looks 100x better and only cost me $70 bucks, and that's Canadian funds.

But I still think that GM should do something! Maybe we can get a free air freshener from them!!!!!!!!

It's from hard launches I believe. That's what I have heard from multiple people. They kind of "buckle" whenever the power goes to the rear tires because the "weight transfer" is so quick or should I say "power transfer".

try paintless dent removal first though
if you filled it with bondo it would just crack and fall out the next time you hit a bump...it would have to be something solid.. and you pull the dents out all you want, they'll come back
