I got a kit from Duplicolor that included everything I needed. I found it at advanced auto or autozone.

get a ceramic brush on kit-

prep the calipers well, wire brush them to get any debri off, wipe down and clean with alchohol. allow to dry. apply a few coats of the ceramic paint.

buy caliper decals from brent- apply and add few coats of clear

Oh man, you better return him before his parents find out!

I've heard of that Duplicolor kit also, and good things about it.

I've used the duplicolor kit ($15) and a kit by G2 ($40). Both came with everything you need... brush, paint, brake cleaner, stir, etc. They both went on the same way, with the exception of the G2, which had a special hardner to mix into the paint. I found the G2 to be much more durable than the dulicolor. The set of G2 calipers looks as good as the day I painted it some 3 years ago. two sets of duplicolors looked ratty and in need of redoing after 6 mos to a year. Just my experience FWTW.

I just got a spray bottle of VHT brake caliper paint. Taped stuff off, primed it, then painted it. It came out pretty good.

You could always remove the calipers completly from the car, and have them powder coated. That would probably look better and last better than anything you could buy yourself and spray on.
