Ok car sat in the sun for a few dayz at work. and now all the tape melted the body kit looks soo have a$$ its sad. But i rip it all off and get rid of it . What is the best stuff to use to get it stuck back on there good?

 

3M double sided tape. Installed on my body kit in 97/98 and it is still stuck like glue. The tape is the primary means for holding the body kit on too... very few screws and they are just used on the "ends".

 

Yup, look for the Grey tape with the red peel-off. Clean both surfaces with alcohol or prep-sol before you use the tape. Then apply the tape to the item to be stuck to the car. Press down and make sure the bond is good between the tape and item. Trim the tape as necessary if doing emblems or similar. Then use a hairdryer or heat-gun and warm the tape until the red peel-off begins to lift and crincle. Then peal the red off, and apply the item to the car; start with very very light pressure, and then once it's in place, then press hard and be sure the tape has fully bonded with the car.
