Best for removing scratches????

I have light scratches on my car (white) and was wondering what is the best for removing scratches. Thanks.

high speed buffer and rubbing compound, must know how to handle a buffer however or you will burn the paint

3M buffing compound + buffer

and yeah you definately have to be careful about burning the paint..

how effective is that zaino z-whatever stuff that's supposed to be for fine scratches?
