I bought my 96 SS used, but for whatever reason the rear bowtie/SS badge isn't there (there is however a mark where is should be) Maybe he was going for a sleeper look from behind... I dunno, but whatever. I was thinking.. since the 96 model was labelled a "Z28 SS" and not just either Z28 or SS.. do you guys think I should buy both badges and put them on the rear for a different look? Or maybe there is some reason I can't that I don't know of?.. Let me know what you guys think.

I think it would be a unique look. It basically boils down to whether you like it or not. If you have the mats and interior plaques that have the Z28/SS logo on them, I say, why not.

Are you going to add the Z28 to the sides too?

If you could get the logos all the same size and matching colors, that would definitely make it look better than just putting two different badges on there.

I would venture to guess that most people would say don't do it though...

I have the plaques and the air box that say Z28 SS.. but not the mats, I didn't get them when I bought the car and I don't know what happend to them. I've been looking for replicas for ever and I can't find them anywhere.. that really irritates me.. oh well. I was only thinking of doing the "Z28 SS" for the back badges.. but maybe all would be interesting. I'll also look into getting them the same colour (mines black with the red outline) Thnanks for the reply

EDIT: Are the Z28 emblems a different size than the SS ones? I've never seen them side by side.. If anyone had some pics of the emblems next to each other I would really appriciate that.
