Yes it does fit and the boot doesn also that's the shifter I'm getting as soon as I find one cheap enough. You can get them new though for about 70 bucks.

Also trans am's T-handle shifter fits and both C5 and T/A shifters use the stock mounting little staple, so you don't have to worry about screws slipping off the shaft.

I have a black MBA billet aluminum A4 shift **** and adapter, I may sell it if I can get like $70 shipped for it. I've only driven the car 3 or 4 times with it. Its a REALLY nice piece, I just need more money for my cam install

Ignore the mess in the car.. it was under a little "construction" when I was putting the shifter in. I need to get a new carpet to cover everything too.
