it wont make the bar any lower but it sure cleans up the look

check into Corvette parts places like Eckler's, Mid America, Corvette America, Corvette Central....etc for this stuff, I know Mid America has a sweet looking **** I might be interested in. and all these places have ***** and ecklers has boots

does anyone know if you can cut the shifter shaft and equally cut the white inner shaft (that the button pushes on), and the cut new slots on the side of the shaft for the retaining clip thing? I would love to lower mine about 3/4 to 1". I'm sure its possible, but has anyone done this?

There are pics on his page of it though - it can be done. There are also other options for this guys. I know AW/whiteZ-28 is aware of them - but he probably just doesn't like them. If you search in this section for "shift ****" & "shifter", you will find some more info.That two tone looks good Mark - I am sure one could make it work.

BTW I guess any shift boot would work as long as it's long enough to get wedged in between those brackets under the shifter so that it's held down
