One of the worst things IMO are rear window louvers! Fortunately I've never seen a 1st or 4th gen with them, only 2nd and 3rd, but WTF do people like about them!?!? They are SO 70's/80's, and tacky as hell! They go along perfectly with the ghetto/mullet stereotype IMO.
I've got louvers for my 4th gen, (still slowly working on painting them to match the exterior, so they aren't actually on the car yet).
Should I grow my mullet now, or do I have to wait until I get the louver installed?

I've posted the pics to other FBody sites, and get about a 40/60 split on like/dislike of the louvers. I've been hesitant to post them here, as I know how the narrow minded crowd here can be. (No offense to anyone).

And the pictures are when it was flat black, and are of poor quality. It'll look a little or a lot better once finished (depending on your disposition toward louvers).

Noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! That's honestly the first 4th-gen I've seen with louvers, and I don't like it! I really try to be open minded (remember this thread?).....I could actually see a nice car under some of the things the guy did to that yellow Camaro, but louvers on a 4th-gen!?

Sorry.

Oh, don't be! But at this point I've got enough money and time vested into doing this, that unless you and 149 of your friend want to "donate" $1 each towards me burning my 4th Gen louver, then it's going to have to go on the car.

Oh, and I've gone through the original photos again and resized them a bit larger -and replaced the poorer quality/sized ones for a better view, since the original post above.

I've seen louvers on a 4th gen, and they don't look to bad, as long as the rest of the car looks good.

I don't think the louvers look bad I just wouldn't spend more than 10 bucks to get them

That's not an F-Bod though. Bigger wheels on Vette's have always looked nice. They also can look nice on some F-Body's, depends on the setup.

I can't believe that this didn't even get mentioned, but, here goes. "Lambo" style doors. Give me a break. It's an F-body, not a Lamborghini. I know, the F-body doors are huge, and heavy. All the more reason not to have them as Lambo doors.

You want doors that open like that? Get a Lamborghini, Delorean, old Mercedes (gullwing doors) or a Mclaren F1.
I got your back.

Another vote for Altezza's and Huge Spoilers.

And haven't seen it yet - but here's a vote for "Angel Eye" headlights on LS1 Camaro's.

And to be totally honest - I don't like the look of clear corners on many cars at all. I like it on most white and silver cars - just because they blend in so well. Everything else should have blacked out clear corners if you want it to look good. (Not getting into the safety debate).

*Drool* I saw that car in person yesterday at the Power Tour, and I think the CME looked awesome.

Like someone said earlier, I too hate those fake Hid blueish headlights. I also don't like painted interiors.

Dang!!! I think you listed everything Auto zone and Advance sells lol!!. "chrome with silver accents" good looking out on that one. It has to be one or the other. "dash covers" I dont see how i forgot those (they're played out too), and also very tacky. But to each his own (dont kill me )

Kandied 91: You can rock your mullet for as long as you like so long as you keep that bad azz 3rd gen looking good. I got a surprise for some of the 3rd gen owners. Carbon fiber Headliners!!!! I've already made a fiberglass one so the carbon is next. Now THIS is not a ricer-ish or tacky mod. BTW I just bought some red C/F (hint-hint) I'll hit cha G-book when I'm done so you can give me your opinion on the job.

Oh, and when did the practice of painting flames go in the trash. All I see are vinyl decals these dayz. Anybody who knows cars knows that Paint it first, and use decals as a last resort.

Halo's!!!!!!!

BMW styled angel eyes, where the outer ring of the headlight illuminates. Now that is a new 2004 mod that I cant find anything wrong with. All the ones I've seen look dern good and I "might" go the same route.

Ehhh - yea - them too...whatever.

All of that stuff belongs on a BMW - not a Camaro, IMHO.
