Anyone ever seen these stripes done before?
Re: Anyone ever seen these stripes done before?
WOW! Thanks for the pics Brandon. REALLY helps to see what it looks like. I have a CRAZY idea how do you guys think of combining the hockey style stripes with this... I think that would eliminate that strange "point" in the pics and complete the car as it would "wrap" around the car both sides?? I am just wondering just a thought? What do you think?
Re: Anyone ever seen these stripes done before?
What's the deal with everybody calling me Brandon all of a sudden? Y'all are blowing my secret identity!
I've always wanted to see somebody copy the pace car stripes and do them in black on a silver car or something similar.

HAHAHAHAHA yeah were trying to blow your secret identity lol
But what do you think of the idea of combining the hockey style stripes with these type of stripes...joining them so there is not a "point" in the front??

I don't know, it'd probably be a bit much. It's usually better to stick with something that somebody with deep pockets (like GM or a race team) did to a Camaro and try to copy that design when you're thinking of crazy stripe and two-tone ideas.
Here's some random ones I found with Google.
Oddly this is similar to what people want.

I wonder if a white Z28 would look good with these areas painted black?

Re: Anyone ever seen these stripes done before?
I had a parts car in my backyard so me and my brother used it to come up with new ideas and this is what he came up with the back half is the Dick Harrell stripe. He has pics of the whole left side I'll have to get them from him. I painted the car and photoshopped some wheels he said he wanted on the car, (before you say anything about the wheels he's not into performance at all he just likes the style of the car) this is what he wanted to do "if" he gets a camaro.

Re: Anyone ever seen these stripes done before?
I must saythat I like the first rendering the best a gray or satin black on a black car if i were to have stripes [which i normaly do not like that is the one i would like ]it is very suttle and you realy have to look for it .that is cool
Re: Anyone ever seen these stripes done before?
just had an idea why not take the stripe ou a little so it goes through the door handle. skinny in front then as thick as the handle then a little wider as it goes to the spoilerthat would make it easyer to do in three parts.what do you think ?
