Anybody Have Pics of...

...this 3" Harwood Cowl hood for 98-02 Camaros?

http://shop.eharwood.com/cgi-bin/harwood/B-12301.html

I don't care if it's just a bigger pic than that or a pic of it installed.. I just need bigger pics! Thanks!

EDIT: Pics of a 2.5"er would be fine too

look on my cardomain and ignore the ram-air side of the hood great hood imo... sometimes wish ilda gone cowl-only, but i just dont like the way it appears out of no-where.. i like the spikes on each side looks a lot better now though... hehe

I don't understand what is the purpose of a cowl induction hood? They look terrible on our round-bodied 4th gens, so why do people put them on their cars?

I don't know......I'm definitely not a fan of the cowl hoods. They look best on older muscle cars, like Chevelles or something of the like.

Yeah, I think they look kind of cool sometimes on older muscle cars, but they look awful on 4th gens. Are they actually functional or purely cosmetic? I've heard of Cowl Induction but it doesn't make any sense.

I don't like them on the fourth gens either, but I think this cowl just looks awesome and flows real well...

Re: Anybody Have Pics of...

the harwood is the only cowl that looks good on 4th gens, its a more modern design that flows well like nos said, and the purpose of it if i remember right is to pick up air to exchange with engine bay heat from the windshield (same effect as a convertible when its down, all the air goes over the windshield then loops back around into the car) i may be remmebering that wrong... but i believe thats how it works... and the harwood doesnt COME functional but ive heard its easy to make it functional, im gonna do it to mine one of these days, just wanna get some fiberglassing experience before i go choppin up a nice hood lol

Re: Anybody Have Pics of...

That reminds me, if you just have to put a cowl hood on your car, the one GM used on the 2002 Sunoco Camaro looked pretty good. The only problem with that is that every body mod on that car was 1 of a kind. GMMG made a similar one I think and used it on the Dick Harrell supercars, and it looked okay I guess. I could be wrong though... I think GMMG just made a similar fender flare body kit for the Camaro, and the hood is completely different
