Am I the only person who likes the 93-96 interior better than the 97-02?

I just like the dash layout better, the vents on the sides look cool IMO, and the way the radio, A/C and headlight controls are mounted just looks better to me. And the storage under the radio is a nice touch. And I like the old style tweed cloth better too. I also like how the seats look, the way the inserts aren't tucked and rolled. And am I the only one who thinks they used better leather on the older cars?

 

no id say you're not on crack, i like the "black" look too apposed to the dark charcoal of the LS1's. they could have done a better job on the storage whatyamacallit tho, its only good for chunkin stuff out at decent throttle I like the smooth style seats too over the mesh style.

 

I also liked my old 93 style over the newer designs that came along.

 

I liked the older seats much better, they were more comfortable and looked better in my opinion.

I jsut swapped my tailights over to older ones

 

Works for me. I got a really cool stereo layout because of the dash. I put a 5 band EQ/Linedriver in the storage thing under the radio. All custom, had to cut out the cigarette lighter portion but it's flush mounted. It looks great at night, with the spectrum analyzer on my Alpine 855 bumping and the EQ lit up . Couldnt do it with the 97+.

 

93-96 looks like 3rd gen interiors to me...like 97 plus much better

 

I will agree that the seat are nicer in the pre 97's but I like my dash way more than the 93-96's......

 

I just like that the 93 yellow is unique to that year and are alot harder to find then the other years.

 

I like the 97 + dash better myself ...

 

I like everything about the 93-96 except for the console which is why I changed it But I like the 97+ too just not enough to change my entire dash.

 

94-97 all around is my favorite

 

the 93-96 interior is better, if you get the gauge pod that goes in the storage under the cd-player
